Practical Nursing Program

Program Description & Curriculum: The Practical Nursing Program is a twelve month training program divided into three levels. Each level is a prerequisite for the next, therefore satisfactory completion of each level is required to progress to the next level. In the third level, students may spend four (4) days a week in the clinical setting continuing their Medical/Surgical, Pediatric, and Special Area Clinical Experiences.

Students who successfully complete the Practical Nursing Program will be eligible to write the State Board Examination for licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Advanced Placement Policy: Credit for previous education and/or experience will be determined on an individual basis and will be granted according to program's standards.
